My Adult Muslim Kids Series: Managing The Joy & Grief of Success

Shownotes:

Nora Abbasi, mom of 4 adult children, joins us today to share motherisms that helped her reach this glorious point as grandmother to 12 little Muslims, mashaAllah. Her advice and reflections are so helpful to those of us on the cusp of being empty nesters or those of who fear reaching that point. All things our kids face with us at their sides can be good. Caring about “what will people say,” sabotages us, though and her tips on how to avoid doing that are GOLDEN.

We learned SO MUCH about how to have healthy mindsets about our kids growing up, avoid opening the door to Shaytaan, and how to keep the spark alive with our partners while raising kids and especially after!

Tune in at 6pm EST tonight and let us know what you think on the reviews on Apple podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google play, or go to our website and hit the ‘Listen’ button on the landing page. You can send us a message about what you think about the episode there, too. We LOVE hearing back from you.
