Samihah Huq joins us to discuss her experience with food addiction and how she’s hit a wall with her doctor in terms of understanding, naming, and taming it. There are barriers to wrapping our brains around food addiction in the Muslim community, starting with the doctor’s office and leading right up to the an auntie’s buffet table.

Hear about some tools to help us identify the problem, work with our doctors to name it, and come up with a recovery plan.
